METRON joins La French Tech Green20, to become one of the ecological transition’s international leaders

On Monday, May 3, 2021, La French Tech announced their list of the 20 winners selected to join the first edition of the French Tech Green20 program. This program, a Greentech offshoot of the existing French Tech 120 and Next40 programs, brings together 20 French startups that are poised to become international leaders in the field of tech for the energy transition and the decarbonization of territories.

All of METRON's teams are very proud to join the list of 20 selected winners in various sectors related to the ecological transition: energy renovation, greening of cities, soil artificialization, energy optimisation of industry, reduction of air pollution... covering the entire spectrum of the environmental transition. In addition to their ecological impact, this program, led by Barbara Pompili and Cédric O, has selected these start-ups for "their ability to develop rapidly and on a large scale." METRON has therefore joined a springboard program for a period of one year, in order to pursue the international deployment of its activity:

  • Increased visibility: media coverage and participation in events around the environmental transition

  • Personalized government support: via the network of French Tech correspondents, in close collaboration with the teams of the Ministry of Ecological Transition

  • Access to financing solutions: in collaboration with the Banque de France

  • Support from Business France for international development: compliance with tax and customs procedures, access to financial tools for market prospecting, etc.

  • Support for talent recruitment: identification of candidates through APEC and Pôle emploi

This award is a real catalyst for METRON and a recognition of the work of its teams. It legitimizes METRON's vision, which for 8 years has been digitalizing energy to decarbonize territories.
