Metron Hosts Energy Resilience Round Table at Paris HQ

On May 10th, 2022, METRON hosted a round table at its headquarters in the heart of Paris. The event took place to accompany the publication of the second edition of the Observatoire de la Verdissement de l’Economie. The publication brings together successful thought leaders from French and international companies. Together, they are committed to the ecological transition thanks to the use of technologies which can help reduce energy consumption. This year’s edition specifically considers the topic of data, and how it can be used in the most sustainable way to reach these goals.

A number of these contributors came together at the METRON Paris office, to share their visions for a discussion about corporate energy dependence and the role of data, mediated by METRON’s CEO, Vincent Sciandra. We were pleased to welcome Benjamin FREMAUX (Institut Montaigne), Arno PONS (Digital New Deal), Julien GROUES (Amazon Web Services), Chloé CLAIR (NamR), Xavier PERRET (Azure Microsoft France), and Yannick DUPORT (Dalkia). At the heart of the discussion was the question of how, beyond the geopolitical issue of energy dependency of states, French and international companies can act now to reduce their exposure to energy supply risks.

The insightful exchange of views was followed by a Q&A, as well as a cocktail session where the audience was able to continue to exchange on the theme, share their knowledge with each other, and connect with the METRON team.
