METRON Shares Marketing Expertise to Support Entrepreneurs at Grand Nancy Innovation Bootcamp

Head of Marketing and Communications at METRON, Hélène Galy, animated a workshop to empower emerging entrepreneurs as part of the Grand Nancy Innovation bootcamp.

Grand Nancy Innovation - Technopole : Incubateur METRON

Nine project leaders came together to take part in a three-month intensive program with Grand Nancy Innovation, a regional hub for start-up creation and business transformation which connects stakeholders, supports start-ups, and fosters innovation through its Incubateur d’Excellence Grand Est. The mission of the program was to turn ideas into MVPs, build first commercial traction, and lay the foundations of their future companies.

Grand Nancy Innovation is funded by several partners, including the Greater Nancy Metropolitan Area, the Grand Est region, the Meurthe-et-Moselle Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lorraine University, Banque des Territoires, and industrial companies such as Saint-Gobain. This is also a strategic area for METRON, where a number of Decarb Fast Track clients are present, including the Brasserie de Champigneulles, Lesaffre, Wurth, Danone, and Safran.

As part of the program, Hélène Galy, METRON’s Head of Marketing and Communications met with the entrepreneurs for an interactive workshop on branding, sharing her knowledge from years of communications experience in industrial and utilities related sectors.

During the workshop, participants explored why a communication strategy is essential from day one and how it can help entrepreneurs accelerate their journey.

Key takeaways included:

  • Branding acts as a compass, defining identity and credibility.
  • Content is the brand’s voice, making it visible to stakeholders.
  • A stakeholder map helps prioritize and plan communication efforts.
  • Brand awareness is a long-term investment that strengthens business performance.

And above all, the importance of daring to publish, even if imperfect, because starting is already moving forward.

METRON is proud to contribute to the Grand Nancy Innovation mission by sharing expertise as a French Tech 120 scale-up and by helping shape the next generation of innovators.
