METRON, a French cleantech company specializing in optimizing energy consumption and decarbonizing businesses, has been selected to accompany the official French government delegation to Southeast Asia. Pierre Groleau, Senior VP Global Sales, represents METRON in the delegation. The trip, that took place from April 9th to April 13th, was chaired by Laurent Saint-Martin, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad. A natural fit for METRON, whose presence in Southeast Asia has been growing steadily since 2018.

Countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Japan, dubbed the "factories of the world," have realized the urgent need to preserve their main markets. To meet Western environmental demands, particularly those of the European market, the Southeast Asian economy has quickly embraced decarbonization, leading to growing demand for technological solutions capable of supporting the energy transition. This represents a strategic opportunity for European players, like METRON, who have unique expertise that has been proven for over 10 years.
