METRON Supports Safran Landing Systems in Structuring Its Multisite Energy Management

Paris [January 22nd, 2026] - Over a year ago, Safran Landing Systems (SLS), the world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, chose the French cleantech company METRON to structure its multisite energy data governance.

This collaboration is part of the Safran Group's global strategy to reduce CO2 emissions by combining consumption control with energy performance optimization. By the end of 2026, twelve Safran Landing Systems sites will be equipped with the METRON solution.

Operating in more than 30 countries, METRON helps industrial players across all sectors structure, deploy, and monitor their decarbonization roadmap through data.

Since its foundation, the cleantech firm has become a key player, supporting over 25,000 sites worldwide.

To achieve this, the French startup relies on a software developed and proven over more than 10 years, as well as local teams specializing in digital and energy services.

The Challenge of Multisite Energy Management: Collecting and Standardizing Data

Building on a successful track record with Safran Helicopter Engines, Safran Landing Systems called upon METRON’s expertise to digitize its multisite Energy Management System (EMS).

By leveraging METRON’s agnostic solution, Safran Landing Systems has addressed a major strategic challenge: standardizing and formatting data from diverse industrial equipment with varying technologies and characteristics.

The platform allows each site to closely monitor its energy consumption and analyze its performance independently, while providing a consolidated view at the corporate level.

This structured multisite approach gives Safran Landing Systems the ability to drive consistent and effective energy initiatives.

It is further supported by energy coaching provided by METRON, helping teams understand, manage, and sustainably optimize their usage, consumption, and energy performance.

12 Sites Equipped with the METRON Solution by the End of 2026

Only after this data was collected could METRON assist Safran Landing Systems in the second phase of the EMS: structuring information to turn it into a true multisite energy management tool.

Since 2024, the solution has been rolled out progressively: five sites are already equipped, and four others are currently being implemented.

Ultimately, Safran Landing Systems plans to uniformly manage the energy consumption of its 12 global sites.
