Paris, 18th June, 2025 – Two years after the launch of the Decarb Fast Track program, METRON, a French cleantech company specializing in digital energy efficiency solutions, is taking a new step forward by consolidating the achievements of this unique initiative dedicated to industrial decarbonization. The ambition is to perpetuate the community of industrialists created as part of the Decarb Fast Track program and expand it to other industrial groups to make the sharing of expertise a lever for accelerating industrial decarbonization. To this end, the Decarb Fast Track Institute was created on June 18, 2025.
Founded in 2013, METRON, recently selected as one of France's 120 most innovative tech companies, offers a digital solution that enables manufacturers to monitor and optimize their energy consumption in real time. This approach aims to build effective energy governance within companies, enabling them to better manage their consumption, reduce their carbon footprint, and improve their energy resilience in an uncertain environment. In response to the 2022 energy crisis, METRON, in partnership with Dalkia, BNP Paribas, and AWS (Amazon Web Services), created the Decarb Fast Track program, which aims to accelerate industrial decarbonization by giving 61 industrial sites in eight European countries access to the METRON platform, support from energy experts, and the exchange of know-how and best practices within an exclusive community of Pioneers. Today, 61 industrial sites have already deployed the solution, representing more than 250 identified decarbonization projects and a potential saving of 190,000 tons of CO2. To date, 100 decarbonization projects representing more than 62,000 tons of CO2 saved are being deployed in the field, demonstrating the success of this initiative.
Building on this momentum, and with interest in similar initiatives emerging internationally, METRON wants to extend the undeniable added value of the industrial community by going even further. The objective: to expand and sustain this space for sharing expertise, best practices, and technical collaboration in the service of decarbonizing industry, with the digitization of energy management as its founding principle. To this end, the Decarb Fast Track Institute was created on June 18, 2025, in Paris. It will bring together the existing Pioneers of the Decarb Fast Track community, but also, more broadly, METRON's European customers and any European industrialist or partner wishing to engage in a process of sharing and collective intelligence.
“Decarb Fast Track was designed to accelerate action. By breaking down the investment barrier and bringing manufacturers together around concrete objectives and proven tools, we have laid the foundations for a new culture of shared energy performance. Decarb Fast Track is above all about the strength of the collective. This collective should not end with the program. With the Decarb Fast Track Institute, we are equipping the industrial sector with a tool for sharing knowledge and best practices that go beyond sector-specific issues," says Vincent Sciandra, CEO of METRON.
