As a French Tech 2030 laureate, we are honored to have been selected to accompany the French Tech delegation for two major events in Japan. Indeed, the World Expo just started in Osaka and will last up till October 2025. In Tokyo, SusHi Tech is a key event featuring innovative startups using tech for sustainable cities. The world's most innovative minds are gathering in Japan. And France might be leading the game.
As a FrenchTech2030 laureate, METRON participated in the FrenchTech delegation travelling for not one, but two key events.
Indeed, the World Expo just started in Osaka. And METRON, represented by Kevin Lesaulnier (General Manager for North Asia), was there at the one-of-a-kind French Pavilion.
And that is not all!
As we were also at SusHi Tech, a major event featuring innovative startups using tech for sustainable cities.
It was amazing to be at these two events during a condensed marathon of presentations, meetings and talks. We were honored to represent French creativity and commitment to decarbonization.
During this unique context, we met with major Japanese companies that share a common ambition: to always do better.
Our secret weapon to help them: data & energy efficiency.
This was also the opportunity to share our common experience as French startups working in the Japanese market.
For this occasion we shared the scene with Ecovadis to talk about the role of technology as a lever to promote sustainability in companies.
One final highlight.
Meeting with fellow Paris-based companies that were also there, with the support of the Île-de-France region.
We warmly thank the French ecosystem for this impactful week, and that continuously is a key support for companies such as METRON: Business France, FrenchTech in Tokyo, France Expo 2025 in Osaka, and the French Regional Economic Service for Japan and South Korea.
