METRON Participates in Sustainable Manufacturing Strategies Summit in Lisbon

METRON was invited to participate, animate workshops, and meet with privately senior leaders to help them with their sustainability strategies at the Sustainable Manufacturing Strategies Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, on 25th and 26th June, 2025.

The annual Sustainable Manufacturing Strategies Summit is an exclusive, invitation-only forum for C-level and senior leaders from Europe’s top Tier One and Tier Two manufacturers, alongside bold challengers and disruptors. The goal of the event is for leaders to fast-track their sustainability journeys and ensure their strategies have a high impact.

This year’s chosen themes, very much aligned with METRON’s expertise, were Sustainability 4.0, Better Data. Smarter Decisions., and Security & Regulation in a Connected World. These were the basis of team challenges, workshops, roundtables, and one-on-one meetings that took place over two days.

METRON’s participation included the organization of two workshops: the energy management circle challenge and a decarbonization roadmap roundtable. These were animated by Nadège Richard, Senior Energy Expert at METRON, and Pierre Groleau, VP Sales at METRON.

The Circle Challenge was an energy management puzzle game, where participants explored systemic links between energy management issues (e.g. lack of digitalization, need to identify optimization actions…), their causes and effects, solutions to the problems, and benefits.

This was followed by a roundtable on the topic of decarbonization roadmaps: From Paper Reality: Essential Tools to Support You. During this workshop, participants looked at concrete tools required for a successful decarbonization roadmap, including those needed to make actions possible, to accelerate implementation, and to guarantee long-term success and resilience of actions.

It was an honor to participate in this high-impact event and help senior leaders make their decarbonization strategies a reality.
